-Demery set the tone when he posterized the post for OU early. Didn’t expect him to dunk that!
-Abson played great and was a major factor in our 2nd half surge. Great FT stroke and had a nice hustle play to throw the ball off a player for us to retain possession. Earned more time.
-Somto’s defensive ability is the best I’ve seen. One of his blocks tonight was incredible. He showed off his ridiculous hops. OU stopped shooting around the basket because they knew what would happen.
-Miles for OK was impressive. Really good quicks. Felt like their guards outmatched us a bit and continued to wait for us to pound it inside, where I knew we had a huge advantage… but
-Our offense continues to confuse me. Once again, Newell shows his amazing ability to get boards and impressive finishes through contact. Why don’t we flow the offense through him? How about at least 1 attempt to let him work?
