Anybody on this board remember a guy named Jeb Blazevich? Seems like he was a player for UGA early on. Don't think he got in the Bama or UT game. Whatever happened to him?

We have TEs ?
It is strange to have so many talented players who got Schotty's highest praise from spring and fall camp, yet he seems to have forgotten about them. This from a guy who supposedly loves using them. So many things have fallen off script I'm at a loss to explain the reasoning in what we're seeing on field.
One thing seems consistent from Schotty's 9 years as an NFL OC, a lack of imagination.

I saw some TE's running free a few times like mythical beasts.
I'd have been scared to use em too.

Why do you need em? Our QB freaks out enough as it is!!! I would hate to add another check down for him... For blocking perhaps? Nah don't need em for that either!

True, they are large and Lambert seems to frighten easily.

Lambert is too timid and not decisive. It is amazing how supposed offensive minds like Richt and Schotty lack any imagination in the offense. Use the TE and Sony in different ways.

Sony is being used in a variety of ways. The situation with our TEs is baffling to me though.

I have watched every game and Sony has not been used enough or in creative ways. For example, why not use he and Chubb on the field at the same time more to force the defense to worry about multiple threats? Our most creative plays have been the bubble or center screen.

I disagree on that point, Sony has been used very well IMO. The TEs..not so much. I can't figure it out. Schotty used his TEs in The NFL, he clearly has the talent at position and We desperately need easy targets, TEs are large and hard to miss.

I think I read he got injured in southern game. Ankle sprain. Should be back.
