We always struggle with SCU, but this year, they have a 6th string walk on QB running the show and no where near the defensive talent of recent. This SCU team is no where near our talent level.

If we truly are loaded, we should absolutely thump them. If not, we have a systemic problem and a staff that is just not capable of getting us to the promised land. The proof shall be in the pudding.

Cannot agree more. Outside of the QB position, this is the most talent the Dawgs have had in years.

Agreed, can the program finally get over it's past ?
Sure Spurrier has great will to beat us, that shouldn't matter though. Our own will should neutralize his will, it should come down to preparation and talent.

We'll also get a better idea of Schotty's ability and how Richt's overly conservative tendencies will mesh with Schotty's second generation conservative tendencies.
Then there's defense. Will Pruitt's defense become consistent in his second year ? This is the first real test of whether our D can get past the SC problems.

The talent hasn't been close for the last five years.

Richt gets exposed again this weekend. I hate it. I hope he proves me wrong, but years of losing important games has destroyed any faith I have in Richt. He almost never wins a game as an underdog. He's guaranteed to lose one or two every year they we are heavily favored to win.

He's a nice guy and a great recruiter, but he can't bring all the pieces together to win championships.

The QB is a prime example of his poor planning. How does GA not have a QB ready to play? He doesn't have to have a Stafford.

I know this makes people angry when I say this, but Georgia is a fundamentally unsound football team. Special teams is plain awful. Defensive secondary tackling skills are terrible. They continue to make poor decisions that lose games.i e 2013 Auburn.

It's just my opinion. 10 years with no SEC championships is my proof in the pudding.

Well the biggest reason that is the case is because UGA is hardly ever an underdog. I would rather rarely win as an underdog than always be an underdog

No, that means that we almost never win high profile important games. I noticed you didn't mention anything about the unexplained one or two loses every year.

Would you finally admit that Richt is an under performer for what we pay him if he doesn't win an SEC championship in the next 4 years?

I would rather win an SEC championship and have a shot at the playoffs as an underdog.

Crow with a little remoulade is palatable.

Gotta say, Gandolph Lemmingwinks looked good, and the defense went through stretches where it looked good as well. The only thing that concerns me on defense is our down linemen. They seemed to get pushed around at times by a vastly inferior chicken line. I did like the fire CJP had after the easy TD drive in the 2nd half.

And your answer is?????

Best offensive play calling I have ever seen at UGA. Vast improvement, the playboook was opened up today.

Hopefully we keep.it up!

I didn't see our interior defense getting pushed around much at all. Nobody has been able to run inside on us in any of our 3 games. Our edge defense got pushed around a bit, SC's OTs are huge and talented.

Yeah, it's one game. They looked good against an awful unranked SC team. How many times has this happened in the last 10 years to soon be followed by some ridiculous loss.

You guys are the idiots to think that it's going to be any different because Georgia just beats a weak ass SC team.

We win the SEC and see if we can not lose to an unranked team, and I will be the first to eat my words.

You get exposed when you run your mouth. I believe your quote was "Richt gets exposed again this weekend. I hate it. I was wrong about this game. They looked great, but this is how they suck you in to believing different. I don't think any different of Richt because he wins one game against a weak ass SC team. A game he should win with our talent. They are awful. KY beat SC ding dong. If this is your proof that Richt is a good coach, then it's weak. How bout we win a game against a Top10 team first before we start talking about how wrong I am.

Championships define coaches' abilities not one game or past winning percentages!

Win the SEC and I will shut up! Until then, you are the fool.

There was a lot to like about the game. Offensive preparation and execution was superb.
The defense had a couple of one drive letups, but all in all a great effort by our players and staff.

Now it's all about Bama, We have most of the next 2 weeks to prepare for them.

Qualitu win or not, strong opponent or not, I'm just happy to see the Dawgs finally hang half a hundred on Spurrier.

The problem with your last statement is...No you won't shut up. If we win it something will be bad about the other team...or Richt will have gotten lucky...you will come up with some BS or another...its obviously in your DNA to hate on Richt.

No, you worship at his feet and can't see him for what he is. Your like a mother that her son can do no wrong.

I don't hate Richt. Like I have said before, I actually like Richt other than the fact that he can't get over the hump and start winning games that matter. Look at his record against end of the season top 10 teams. It's not very good. I just don't think that he is that good of a coach. 10 years with no SEC championships is all that needs to be said about that.

I was particularly impressed with how they used #1 in the passing game. We still have not shown how good we are on designed runs outside the tackles and throwing it deep. That is by design I think. Gotta hold something back for Bama.

He is the coach we have...I will not apologize for supporting the man. There have been 4 coaches at Georgia in my lifetime and I have supported them all. Have I always been happy with their decisions?...of course not. But I'm also not going to beat a dead horse over and over again. This is supposed to be fun...not a job. Some of you bitch and bitch and bitch like your getting paid or something.

If you're okay with paying 4 million a year to consistently win nothing that matters, then that's on you.

I'm not okay with being mediocre and good winning percentages, Dooley had down losing seasons, but he won SEC championships and finally a NC. The demographics were different then too. We can do better. If you have a breath you could win 8 games a year with our talent.

10 years no SEC championships, I'm tired of watching other people play for an SEC championship...especially Missouri.
