TN...Going for 2?

Can someone please explain to me why TN should not go for 2? I don't get why there was any decision to make here. What is there to lose?

The chart. The Chart. The chart said not to, per UT coach. UT inbreds are pretty mad about it. Butch has got the same record as D. Dooley did. LOL

Technically you don't go for two there if you think your defense is playing well enough to win... you are assuming UF will need a TD and two field goals to tie you.

Disagreed with the call however... especially considering you haven't beaten them in 10 yards. Play aggressive, not to lose... of course their defense is to blame primarily giving up 5 4th down conversions ! Gotta love ol' Jancek and Willie Mart

When watching the game... at that point I said that UT would lose. That was a no brainier to go for 2. Dumb decisions will always come back to bite you. Just like not kicking it through the Endzone v Tech last year.
