And for the record there is no way that they didn't know that when they named him. So, in a former life I was a middle school teacher. Was calling roll one afternoon for an intramural class. Said a girl's name, and I think I turned ghost white. Meagan Love. Yep. Again, no way I'll ever believe the parent's knew 100% what they were doing. Nuts. Annnndd here's one more. Was sitting in the church pew, again this was over 25 years ago, reading the bulletin. We had a small Hispanic service in another part of the church. In the bulletin the church had a list of new members. It gave the family's names. Last name was Valdez. One of the kids name was...... Exxon. Yep, Exxon Valdez. Not exactly the same but close enough. I imagine some evil OB nurse telling the parents that Exxon would be a really great name and they went with it. How else?
