Yes, unless he’s murdered someone or was caught up in some sort of trafficking ring.
But if you profited from your son’s actions the pardon would still stink just as bad.
A pardon for a kids drug or gun offense vs pardoning for “earning” for the family criminal enterprise would barely worth mentioning at this point.
Fully understand the Father/Son pardon. No arguing from me on that front but not the point of post.
A pardon for the crimes he has been found guilty of is expected

And further to your point - the act of pardoning the son is an end around way to pardoning Joe himself. Jr’s testimony would hang Joe as well in this conspiracy.
He probably blackmailed Joe into the pardon and then Joe had to include the Burisma stuff or risk a tell all
It doesn't actually prove anything. It just screams real loud. More about Hunter than Joe. I think any parent would have done the same thing for their child, no questions asked. If not, it says a lot about that parent.
And JB maybe the worst president of the last 50 years. Maybe 100 years. But nobody will ever surpass Buchanan. The nation was literally torn apart under his watch

I would assume rent has absolutely nothing to do with federal crimes and I would think that a landlord would have a better shot of collecting it from a person who is not in jail or who does not have to spend tons of money on legal fees.

In a vacuum, no it's not evidence of Joe's corruption. When added to other pieces of evidence, it's a huge element. For example, you have Tony Bobulinski presenting documents that show the big guy gets 10% and explaining that Joe was the big guy and what the organizations did to give Joe plausible deniability and there is no doubt the guy was in the loop, it indicates that Joe is pardoning his bag man as much as it indicates he's protecting his son.
This time 4 years ago, Biden had won with the largest vote total ever. What started so optimistically became a 4 year race to the bottom. And the damage isn't limited to Biden. He slimed the entire democrat party.

For the record, I just thought that was disgustingly funny. What's not is how quickly his 'art career' dried up (gross pun intended). Total money laundering what were effectively political bribes.
Again, it's the repetitive, continuous lying. It's not about a single time. He was asked about this a lot. It would have been way easier to say "I have not decided yet" or "Likely not, unless it becomes political", etc. Whatever.
