Today isn't Signing Day...

Which is precisely why you stay the course and stay on message. Curtis? Bolden? How quickly we forget rationality.
Staying on course and on message is good and fine, but odds are more in Miami’s favor than ours. We also stayed on message with Sanders last year and he is at UT. That is rationality/reality.

And a third of Kirby's classes are comprised of flips, including many of our biggest stars.

It's worked pretty well.

Today is an announcement of who leads for now essentially.

Just as I said when people freaked about Curtis de-committing - long way to go. Just as I said a couple weeks ago when we started to feel good about Cantwell - all him committing to UGA today would do is up the offers from other desperate programs.

Stay the course. He's now got 6+ months to be called a sellout by people and think about playing in a half-empty stadium in a sketchy city. Miami is an absolute shit hole for college football. And if he commits to Miami today, every other program will focus all of their negative recruiting on Miami. It will inevitably erode their NIL shine at least to some degree. The target is now squarely on Miami and that's not a good thing for them.

I still want Cantwell and I'll continue to bet on Kirby. Winning big recruits is the same as winning big games - it's about persevering through wave after wave of adversity. They're never easy or pretty. Stay on message and stay consistent.

(And don't think Oregon won't throw a Hail Mary NIL offer at Curtis before he signs, too).
You are correct. But today is an example of why I could care less about recruiting and don't care to follow it anymore. I am thankful for the guys who do here for the sake of knowing names, prospects, etc. But there's no point to devoting any amount of energy or emotion to it anymore

Same. It's part of why I no longer have any emotion invested in it. I used to love following recruiting. Now I just kind of I observe from an emotional distance.
