I know that we've still got work to do with weekend with Kentucky, but I believe this game tonight with the nerds could go a long way to securing a regional spot if we can make it to Hoover. Tech has an RPI of #35 and us at #45, so a W would obviously raise ours a tad. Winning the season series could play into a at-large decision and of course build confidence towards the weekend. I'm not saying that a L tonight knocks us out of a regional, but it could certainly HELP us get one if we can do the other things vs. Kentucky to get to Hoover. Coach Stricklin was adamant on the post game show Sunday that we are going to get to Hoover and get to a regional and that Tuesday vs. Tech was a big piece to making that happen. I LOVE that he gets that these games DO matter (Perno seemed to not share that attitude) and I know we'll coach & hopefully play wide open tonight. TO HELL WITH TECH!
