1. These are only Power 5 games so it's a small sample size for 2023.
2. We're dead last in difference from last year to this year. This has a lot to do with the offense being less effective in explosive play production and the defense being less effective in preventing such plays. We're not horrible in either, just that we were so good last year that our average output this year is terrible in comparison.
3. If you are a glass half empty person, you'll notice we haven't exactly played the best of the best in this stat and still are only average in it for 2023.
4. If you are a glass half full person, you can say that Kentucky is not likely to hold such a great net YPP and we are unlikely to continue having such an average one. Also, Georgia is one of the few teams whose NYPP last year was higher vs. ranked teams compared to unranked teams.
