despite the outcome, we had a great time. My Mom lives south of Austin, so we flew out for the weekend. We drove up to Waco. Not a ton to the city of Waco. I am guessing it is like Starkville, except there are NO bars. We walked over and looked at their brand new football stadium, and it is beautiful! As for the game, we were very happy at the end of the 1st half. Our lack of any interior presence killed us in the 2d half. #2, Gathers was a full-grown man for Baylor. I thought Ogbeide looked good defensively and on the boards in 1st half, but of course he didn't get off the bench almost the whole 2d half. The 1st 4-minutes of the 2d half just killed us.
I will say, the Baylor fans were absolutely friendly hosts. Not a hostile word was said to us, even in 1st half when we were winning. As we walked out, probably 15 people wished us well, and thanked us for coming. Overall, it was a really good trip.
