8-9 yr old? kid rings the doorbell.
often I just shy away,
let the dogs bark
and they go away.
answered to "Happy Halloween!"...
I gues I just looked at him.?
he said, "my family celebrates Hallloween on this day."
quickly I thought what a great racket he is trying.
"I've got nothing for you."
was my truthful reply.
the moral to this factual story is This;
if an 8-9 year old knocks on Your Door,
after tearing up Your gate/fence,
how do you treat the child that comes to Your door out of season
wanting pastries and sundries?
look the little bastard straight in the eye and play straight,
maybe a little fear eye...!?
