The military is not a social experiment as Barry tried to make it.
And I as a taxpayer don't want to pay for all of the operations and therapy of mentally deranged folks
It would be a never ending quagmire of the utterly ridiculous sickness which is leftism. If the military pays for sex change crap, then other military members have the right to face lifts, nose jobs, fat removal surgery. any elective procedure they claim they need to "identify" with their warped mental image. Some pig that looks like Chastity Bono could say, "but I identify as Charlize Theron" or someone could claim they identify as a Brad Pitt look-alike but have a nose shaped like a locomotive, "so, fix it". It simply is not in the best interest of the military, or in the best interest of national security to pander to rampaging neurosis.
To be the party that takes pride in so called "small government", you all really love controlling what people do with their lives.
The military is not a social experiment , it has to be a " killing machine " not a hormone pharmacy !! This " politically correct " crap does nothing but burden the effectiveness of the military .
The size of government is not even the issue. A guy can pretend to be or "identify as" a woman in this country. He just does not get to have the tax payers foot the bill for it. Plus, that behavior disqualifies a person from serving in the military because it has been rightly judged by military experts to be detrimental to the mission.
If you are furious about no trannys in the military , it doesn't sound like you have been there . For example, separate quarters for one person assigned to a platoon , quarters being sleeping and bathing facilities , depending on what gender they choose . The "special needs " for this person would be, and is , a real burden for individual units to support . The military is not really designed to handle individual needs , everybody gets the same , all for one and one for all.
