I thought democrats liked veterans.

Tuesday night, while Kamala Harris pledged to defend “freedom, compassion, and the rule of law” in Philadelphia, Tulsi Gabbard described being tracked by teams of government agents in a surveillance regime more reminiscent of East Germany than a free country. Whistleblowing Air Marshals told Uncover DC Gabbard was singled out as a terror threat under the so-called “Quiet Skies” program, and the former presidential candidate says she noticed.

A woman scorned. Tulsi better watch her six if Kamala is elected. She won’t forget that debate.

This issue has been around for a while now. She is a Putin apologist to the extreme and has received funding from questionable sources.

The fact that you mentioned Putin shows that this is BS.

Also, money obtained from questionable sources would include the vast majority of elected officials. Heck, businesses have legitimate relationships with questionable sources and they aren't considered terrorists.

There are a lot of politicians who fit that

There are several politicians who more closely fit the description you gave above.
Swalwell is one. Is he being monitored by the Adminsitration. The Biden’s have received money from Ukraine and China.

So basically like Hunter Biden? Or was that China?

I was simply making the point that Harris did not create this narrative.

I will add, the degree to which she has defended Russia and Putin is rather extreme. Being against our funding of the war is one thing. Making excuses for the origin of an entirely baseless invasion of a sovereign nation is something else.

Still waiting for the quid-pro-quo that Ukraine and China got from Joe for all these millions of dollars.

If Russia has been funneling money to Gabbard, its entirely clear what they have gotten in return. That's kind of an important part of the equation if you are accusing someone of foreign influence.

Everything is the devil to you, Sweetie. Especially if they are Republicans.

Is it the red ties/color that is giving them away?

Ukraine has not benefited from Joe? You serious Clark?

So, you are saying that Joe altered our policy or would not have funded Ukraine's defense if Hunter had not been on the Burisma board before Biden was POTUS? The administration's policy toward Ukraine has been entirely consistent with Biden's foreign policy stance towards Russia his entire career.

If you want to talk about changing policy positions, it's some on the right who have moved from an aggressive stance towards Russian containment to making excuses for Russian aggression.

We know that Russia helped Trump in 2016 and 2020. What did they get for that?

Only problem with these is she was still a Democrat when the first two articles were written. She was about to run for the Democrat nomination in 2019 when the first article was written.

Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign manager, was convicted for, among other things, money laundering related to his work for pro-Moscow politicians in Ukraine.

AI alert:
Paul Manafort, a political consultant and lobbyist, became a central figure in investigations concerning Russian influence in U.S. politics, particularly related to his role as Donald Trump's campaign chairman in 2016. Here is a more detailed look at his connections to Russia and related issues:

### Background

- **Role in Trump's Campaign**: Manafort joined the Trump campaign in March 2016 and became its chairman in May 2016. He was involved during a critical period when allegations of Russian interference in the election began to surface.

### Ties to Russian Interests

- **Work in Ukraine**: Manafort had extensive ties to pro-Russian political figures in Ukraine, particularly through his work with Viktor Yanukovych, the former Ukrainian president who was backed by the Kremlin. Manafort's lobbying efforts helped Yanukovych gain and maintain power, which aligned with Russian geopolitical interests.

- **Financial Transactions**: Manafort received millions of dollars for his work in Ukraine. These funds were often moved through offshore accounts and shell companies, leading to allegations of money laundering.

### Legal Issues

- **Indictment and Charges**: In October 2017, Manafort was indicted on multiple charges, including conspiracy against the United States, money laundering, failing to register as a foreign agent, and making false statements. The charges were largely related to his financial dealings in Ukraine.

- **Trial and Conviction**: In 2018, Manafort was convicted on eight counts of tax and bank fraud. He later pleaded guilty to additional charges in a separate trial, admitting to his involvement in illegal lobbying and financial crimes.

- **Connection to Russia Investigation**: Manafort's interactions with Russian-linked individuals, including sharing polling data with a Russian associate, Konstantin Kilimnik, were investigated as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election. While the Mueller Report noted these interactions, it did not conclude that Manafort conspired with the Russian government to influence the election.

### Aftermath

- **Sentencing and Pardon**: Manafort was sentenced to a total of 7.5 years in prison for his crimes. However, in December 2020, he was pardoned by President Trump.

- **Impact on U.S. Politics**: Manafort's case highlighted the complex web of international lobbying and financial transactions, raising questions about foreign influence in U.S. politics and the need for transparency and accountability.

Manafort's legal troubles and their connection to Russian interests remain a significant aspect of the broader discussions about election integrity and foreign influence in American politics.

The Dems would like to censor as much as Russia. The legacy media is about as much in the bag for the Dems as the Russian media is for Putin.

Fox News, Newsmax, the WSJ, The NY Post, National Review, the 193 local TV stations owned by Sinclair, The Daily Wire, Breitbart, The Epoch Times, The Washington Times and the various outlets for the Heritage Foundation would beg to differ,
