The 2020 television coverage for the fourth-ranked Georgia baseball team has been finalized after ESPN and the Southeastern Conference announced the schedule Tuesday.
Georgia will be featured at least nine times across the ESPN/SEC networks as part of the 2020 SEC Baseball television package. All 35 Georgia home games will be available to view on television or streamed online exclusively as SEC Network + events and available on the ESPN App, and on SECNetwork.com through participating providers. Five of Georgia’s SEC road games will be televised and the remaining 10 will be available on SEC Network +.
The SEC starts the season with nine teams ranked in the USA Today Coaches preseason Top 25, the most of any conference. With 75 games on the network throughout the spring, SEC Thursday Night Baseball will be in full swing on ESPNU and SEC Network, featuring a preseason Top 25 team in every week of the regular season. In addition, SEC Network will join forces with ESPNU to televise the final weekend of SEC action, May 14-16. All games for the SEC Baseball Tournament will air on SEC Network and ESPN2, with additional digital coverage on SECNetwork.com.
ESPNU will televise the NCAA Baseball Selection Show on Monday, May 25 at noon. ESPN will cover up to 153 postseason games beginning with NCAA Regionals.Complete postseason coverage will be announced at a later date.
