I really respect him. Stood up for his Jewish students while everyone else was siding with Hamas. He's been really good there

University of Florida president Ben Sasse is resigning after his wife was diagnosed with epilepsy​

I hope they don’t hire a liberal nut case to replace him . There is already enough of that going around.

Why would he resign for seizures? If new onset in someone her age may be a brain tumor. He has been an excellent president at UF. Hate to hear he’s resigning. I know he was in the senate but if they aren’t Medicare age will be difficult to get insurance. He might want to work to keep health insurance! I’m sure he could have time off with family leave act.

I see he’s staying on to teach so he will still have insurance. She had aneurysms. He’s a good husband and father to give up that position to be there for his wife and children. I didn’t always like his decisions as a Senator but he’s earned my respect while at UF.
