The atmosphere during the beginning of the game was elite last night - our players, rightfully so, appeared to be intimidated by the environment. Bryant Denny is a tough, tough place to play.

Deboer hit us early, as others have alluded to, with some schemes that were not on film. His plan to neutralize our dline, attack the edges of our defense, and push the ball downfield (their strength) caught us off guard. They had a better plan to start the game.

As time goes on, it appears the refs have more and more impact on the game. They should have been flagged a couple more times for blatant pass interference in the first half - instead these misses ended up being drive killers.

Our team showed a lot of fight and resolve once the players calmed down and coaches made adjustments. Even though it appeared the game would be a route - “those dogs are hell, and never quit!” It was always going to be very difficult to run the table with our schedule- and Bama is the win I most wanted - but we should expect tremendous growth from a leadership perspective and provide confidence that we can still win it all.

I was shocked by many of the BAMA fans we ran accross last night. A 60+ year old woman randomly walked up post game and said, “F*** you and roll tide.” The gumps in front of us would make comments such as “Going to be a long night for you.” “You should leave and let a Bama fan have your seats.” “You drove from GA to watch this, you guys don’t make good choices.” Right before halftime - these gumps were put in their place and never made another comment. They were arrogant and awful.

We are still one of only fours teams with the talent and coaching to win it all this year - we have a lot to look forward to THIS SEASON - go dawgs!!
