Uncle, Luther Williams stadium still there?**

Yea it's still there. Macon lost the Peaches to Rome Ga

when they built that great stadium for them. Lot of the Braves were coming down for a game or two at times then. There are a few activities going on there but no team. It's used for movies quite a lot. The Clint Eastwood one a couple of years ago and the Jackie Robinson one used it too. Perfect for old 1930s-50s type scenes.

I believe they filmed part of that Jackie Robinson movie there.

Maybe part of that Jon Hamm baseball movie, Million Dollar Arm I think it was called.

Also Richard Pryor in Bingo Long and the Traveling

All Stars was filmed there.

I didn't know about that one. I was 11 months old when it was released.*

Back in the early-mid 80s the Pirates single A team lived there and they

would have quarter BEER nights. We'd sit behind the visitor dugout and get drunk and heckle the visiting team. good times until one of them wanted to fight.
