First, let's touch on the Jamarrien Burt situation from yesterday. There was a breakdown in communication somewhere and you have to feel for the young man in what I'm sure was an embarrassing ordeal. However, sources tell UGASports that Burt was impressive at the camp he attended last week. Upon seeing Burt's social media post of his attendance at camp, UGASports reached out for comment and Burt said, "I think people are starting to see me for the baller I am." Burt has held an offer from Georgia for over a year, though it still seems to be a non-committable offer at this time.

Ja'Corey Thomas is someone that has caught the eye of multiple defensive coaches. When speaking with Thomas recently UGASports learned that defensive back coach Jahmile Addae, head coach Kirby Smart, and defensive analyst Will Muschamp were all involved in the conversations that surround Thomas receiving his offer from UGA. The size of Thomas at 6-foot-1 and nearly 200 pounds, mixed with athleticism and toughness make him an intriguing prospect.

Griffin Scroggs and Carson Henry are both in wait-and-see mode as offensive line prospects for Georgia. Each would likely be interior offensive linemen if they were to end up at Georgia. Scroggs is no stranger to playing against major competition as he has been at both Buford and Grayson during his high school career. Offensive line coach Matt Luke pulled both in for conversations after their attending camp at Georgia last week. Both have been told that UGA will make a decision on them one way or another by early July.

Carson Conklin is from the same high school that former UGA defensive end target and now USC Trojan Korey Foreman attended, Centennial High School in Corona, California. (Yes, I'm sure they wish they could rename the town after 2020.) Conklin is a very good athlete and has offers from Arizona State and Kansas currently. The California native has been invited to throw at Georgia on June 14. Recently UGASports spoke with Conklin and he called Georgia "a dream school." Conklin also plans to make stops at Florida State and South Carolina. The work out on June 14 will tell the tale on Conklin most likely, we shall see if he leaves Athens with an offer.
