First, thank you for all the outpouring of prayers and support.
The surgery went well Friday and got into the ICU around 7-8pm. The surgical team feels great about the operation and that they got it all. I’ve been feeling incredibly well, beyond what I expected.
The latest update is they took the head wrap/bandage off and should be taking the drain tube out this morning. If everything goes well and I feel good, they may send us home today. It blows my mind how quickly I’m reviving and could go home after such a major surgery.
The Lord is good and he provided us with an amazing medical team. I will always provide a resounding recommendation for UAB hospital, neurosurgery and all around care team.
Now let’s get back on my feet and ready to get to Athens this fall for an exciting season. Go Dawgs!
