Went to West Forsyth to see Georgia offensive line commit Cortez Smith tonight. His Parkview squad seemed to be down a lot of players tonight and he admitted that he had to play both sides of the ball more than usual. They shifted him from LG to RG depending on where the play was going. He even lined up in the backfield a couple of times.
He told me after the game that his recruiting process is 100 percent shut down and he will not take any visits besides Georgia. He will be in Atlanta tomorrow and said his prediction on the game is 35-12 Dawgs.
He will enroll early at Georgia and said the main thing he was looking forward to was just working. He said he feels like he has plateaued as a player in high school and looks forward to the development. He also talked about how Georgia was his dream school and it was the relentless effort by the home state school that ultimately put them over the top.
One recruit he said the offensive line was going after is running back target Ousmane Kromah. He said it is like a brotherhood among the commits and talked about how all the offensive line commits are currently from the state of Georgia.
