Huepel has done less with less, which any coach can do. We never use the tight end whereas as georgia has killed us with simple passes to its tight ends. Our playing calling seems terrible because the plays don't result in completions or first downs. We can't move the chains. Georgia needs 4 or 6 yards on 3rd downs and somebody runs a standard route and it's a completion for a first. Basic execution. We have a 3rd and 4 and either the pass is deflected, or the catch is made at 3 yards instead of four, or the throw is bad, or the receiver can't make a play. Bad execution. No creativity. We can't keep a drive going. We're terrible.

Yeah, IMO last season really set unattainable expectations for the program. That can happen when you have a ridiculously talented QB and the offense runs so smoothly. Much like Kirby’s second year with GA. Granted that team had talent but it wasn’t yet sustainable until several more years of recruiting.
I think last season is a good omen of what is possible when the Vols even the talent gap a bit. And if Nico develops into what is advertised, I’m afraid this may happen sooner rather than later.😂. The Portal could be a game changer in these events.

I thought Heupel was an offensive guru? Our offense sux. Our passing game is a joke. And you can blame it all on Milton,
or injured receivers. And Milton was Heupel's guy. The point of being an offensive guru is to make a silk purse out of a cow's ear--that's what makes you a guru, if you are one legitimately. It's about doing more with less.
Huepel has done less with less, which any coach can do. We never use the tight end whereas as georgia has killed us with simple passes to its tight ends. Our playing calling seems terrible because the plays don't result in completions or first downs. We can't move the chains. Georgia needs 4 or 6 yards on 3rd downs and somebody runs a standard route and it's a completion for a first. Basic execution. We have a 3rd and 4 and either the pass is deflected, or the catch is made at 3 yards instead of four, or the throw is bad, or the receiver can't make a play. Bad execution. No creativity. We can't keep a drive going. We're terrible.

May it be so Vol: Tennessee has all the resources imaginable, fantastic facilities, tons of support and money. The portal and NIL is a game changer for some schools. However it feels like UT Will forever remain middle of the pack or worse.

Stopped at Florida to laugh Vol: I get it, but here’s the thing. Every team that was more physical with us we could barely score on. FLA, BAMA, Mizzou and UGA. After last week’s game against Mizzou, I knew GA would do the same to us. We don’t have any offense to help keep our D off the field. (Seriously though, Florida was more physical. That's hilarious)

Yeah, IMO last season really set unattainable expectations for the program. That can happen when you have a ridiculously talented QB and the offense runs so smoothly. Much like Kirby’s second year with GA. Granted that team had talent but it wasn’t yet sustainable until several more years of recruiting.
I think last season is a good omen of what is possible when the Vols even the talent gap a bit. And if Nico develops into what is advertised, I’m afraid this may happen sooner rather than later.😂. The Portal could be a game changer in these events.

Josh H. went from SEC coach of the year to SEC flop of the year. Last year, through 10 games, the Vols scored 512 points.
This year we have scored 314 points. Almost 200 points difference. 17 points in the last two games
Some fans say well we are 8-4 this year (assuming we beat Vandy).
We beat Virginia, Austin Peay and UTSA (cupcakes games). Three SEC games which we won two by only one score.
JH with Milton is acting just like Pruitt and JG and that is really bad.
