I think Lipscomb is a pretty team. When we beat them up so badly on Friday night I really expected the rest of the weekend to be non-competitive. But I thought that they played a much better game Saturday and then a much better game again on Sunday. They had a number of players out this weekend and extremely limited practice time in March.
The 9th inning yesterday was frustrating, but that was a good series for us all in all.... very good actually when consider that we were one inning away from shutting out the whole weekend.
Hopefully we get to play tomorrow night. I tell ya though, this really has looked better than I think most people expected given all the new faces.
I think that we've found our 3b and I think it's safe to say that Ben Anderson has broken out of his early season funk. I know that yesterday's 9th inning just happened, well, yesterday, but that doesn't cover up all the good, or shouldn't.
