Re: '93 at Tech. We kicked their ass on Thanksgiving Day.
I was there in the Dawg student section with my UGA freshman daughter in the Tech North end zone. The fight was in the South end zone. Good time. Played "Alice's Restaurant" all the way home.

His last regular season Bobo led the Dawgs down the field
and hit Corey Allen in the Tech end zone for the win. Hit Champ and Hines Ward a couple of time on that 2 minute drive to win and go to the Peach Bowl.

That was a hell of a day. After the game we went to that
very good sports bar on Roswell Rd just inside of the perimeter, kind of near Mt Paran Rd. That place was hot about that time. Can't remember the name.

Two years and two different HC's apart, UJ. CRG's last was the wobbly FG on
T-Day to win in last seconds the week after CVD caned him. The other win was CJD's team in '97 when Bobo threw the tunnel screen to Champ with O'Leary assigning former Dawg Ronnie Rogers' son, Ron(ald), to cover Bailey. Somewhat of a mismatch.

I finally got that straightened out. Yea, that HH field goal
was the ugliest one I've ever seen. Played golf with Ray the Wednesday following that. He told me then that the Dawgs were going to the Peach. I told him he was FOS. We both laughed and it was true. Kind of funny if you know him.

Ray spoke at Bulldog Club meeting in '94 and was asked about the "fight"
and throwing players onto the sideline. He said he was just trying to get them off quickly so he could call a timeout and line up for an onside kick to score one more time.

Uncle John you're thinking of Frankie's at The Prado. It was part of the Jock's and Jill's group. It's a Taco Mac now. Frankie's was definitely a great place to go.
