But we seem to lack the dominant playmakers that we have had in past years. As a result, our schemes tend to lean towards conservative play calling until we are in a hole. We’ve also hurt ourselves w/penalties, drops, poor tackling and turnovers. Basically less than stellar execution.
Now toss in a few injuries, especially along our LOS. In total, we are not on the level of our past few teams under Kirby.
Most every game is going to be a struggle I fear until we can find ourselves. Hopefully we can click down the stretch getting hot when it matters most!
