Compare his record to Dooley and get back with me. ( 6 SEC titles and a national championship)

Richt DOES have a better winning percentage though. Richt was at least as good a coach as VD and He worked far harder at the business of making sure His players got their educations. Dooley has gotten a pass on a pretty spotty record when it came to players being real students.

Sorry, but 6 SEC titles and a national title trumps 2 SEC titles and no national titles. Vince also did it during a time where the population and high school football talent was nowhere near what it is today. I might also add I don't remember UGA playing as many cupcakes during Vince's era.

Who cares? Richt hasn't even sniffed a title game. Dooley's 6 SEC Championships and an NC are significantly more impressive than what's on Richt's resume...but don't let the facts get in the way of the truth.

Plus the fact that Dooleys teams played for the Championship two other times...77 Sugar Bowl and 83 Sugar Bowl. People tend to forget those games
