If we just happen to have the last possession and win, I'll take it. The program really needs to prove to itself it can take the better team and not struggle against a SC team that is just not as talented.
There's no material reason we shouldn't cover the spread, or come close to it.

I agree. We on paper should wipe the field with S Cal., but Spurrier always finds a way to stay in the game if not outright win it.
I feel like it will be a hard fought game but, we win.

It's more than Spurrier's coaching IMO. I think he's in Richt's head and many of our players' heads as well. That's why I said we need to play WELL, and to our talent level to throw the ole ball sack off our backs for good. He will likely never have another team to match us talent wise. It's about confidence and coaching now.
If we fumble around and win ugly, we'll find ourselves right back in Columbia next year with the dreaded monkey weighing us down.

This is the kind of game that Richt is notorious for losing. I hope we kick their ass all over the field. Run the freakin score up on the old ball sack.

Whip them, then whip them for looking whipped.
Spurrier has been the bane of our program for a generation now. Many fans can't remember when he wasn't tormenting us. I have to give the old so and so my grudging respect, he walks the walk.
