Captain obvious (I know) but we could really use a quick, decisive victory on Saturday for a few reasons..
1) We need to build on the momentum from the second half last week. Both offensively and defensively, we seemed to find an identify in the second half against SCar and it will be important to continue that on Saturday. I would love to see Beck start fast and have a big game while not playing much past halftime so he has confidence going into Auburn. We need to remind everyone (including ourselves) who we are.
2) This team is absolutely beat to hell right now. Between a physical fall camp, not having the type of opener we expected and just bad injury luck this team has a lot of guys either out or very limited. Hoping to get the young backups including most of the true freshmen a lot of snaps on Saturday before we head into SEC play.
