Congratulations to @dawg5251 for being our winner for Week 1…
Of 219 entries—the most we’ve had for any week in the three-plus seasons of doing this—dawg5251 was one of just four to go a perfect 3-0. (If you ever go 3-0, please let me know by Monday night if you want to be considered for the weekly winner.)
For the tie-breaker question (How many rushing yards will Branson Robinson gain/net against Clemson?), our winner was the closest of the four, guessing 32 rushing yards (Robinson gained 12).
Onto this week...
The rules are the same as always: 1) Of the six games in the next post, choose three sides against the spread, and come up with an answer to the tie-breaker; 2) Entries are due Saturday at noon; 3) Only one entry per subscriber; 4) If you go 3-0, please let me know; and 5) Winner gets six FREE months added to their subscription.
NOTE: “Official” point spreads for FBS vs. FCS games aren’t released until later in the week. We estimated the point spread for Georgia-Tennessee Tech at Georgia -50.5 based on the Bulldogs’ average spread for their previous four games vs. FCS opponents.
