In the game I'm playing forward and guarding MCMillan a shot goes up. I have inside position and the ball bounces high off the rim. I took two steps and went up. Just about the time I was gonna snatch the ball I got hit by what felt like the Lakers overhead scoreboard falling on me. As I fell to the court right under the backboard I looked up and saw Wilt with the ball standing over me. He went up with it about two feet over the rim and I knew he was gonna throw it down. As he did I rolled out of the way and the ball came down with such force it hit the court and bounced back up and hit the bottom of the backboard.
As I got to my feet I looked and saw Wilt ambling up the floor. I looked at the ref standing a few feet from me for a foul call and he shrugged and said welcome to the league.
