Browns RBs coach Wilbert Montgomery called out his position group after Sunday's practice for failing to take hold of the team's starting job.
Terrance West and Duke Johnson have been hurt, so the rant may have been largely directed at Isaiah Crowell. "How can you play and not want to be a starter?" Montgomery said. "It just bothers me that guys don't want to be the lead bell-cow guy." Specifically of Crowell, Montgomery said, "He's got to show me that he's hungry. You show up and do the things that are going to keep you healthy, get treatment after practice, hydrate, do all the little things you have to do in order to be that guy."
