Yup, it's a vast conspiracy instigated by...NOAA. NASA's involved too, which makes sense since they fake Moon landings and conceal aliens in the Nevada desert. Daily Caller. Sheesh.
Facts are facts even when you do not agree with them. We are trying to bring the truth to the argument, but truth can't bee seen when someone will not accept the facts.
Well, they do report to a boss that has an agenda. When you revise the data by changing the metrics as to how the temperature data is gathered, it looks questionable.
Wait, let me understand your point: I assume by boss you mean the President because, well, Benghazi, but you think that the POTUS is directing NOAA (and NASA and every U.S and international University and working group) to mislead the world in order to...what? Destroy the world economy, because..why? Amazing that he's been able to so greatly impact work that started well before he took office. I love conspiracy nuts!

Pretty quick Hydro. You have to admit that this President's record on truthfulness is, well, lacking. I think there are some studies with merit and some that are political. If you don't think this president pushes a political agenda you haven't been paying attention to the immigration debate and executive orders. Or energy policy. Or the recent EPA water grab. Or the regulatory 2nd Amendment grab. The social experiment military policy. It goes on and on. Everything with this president is about pushing forward his agenda. If you are not on board with his political agenda you are gone. So if you take a leftist agenda that many in academia support with a president whose agenda leans to the extreme left on top of a currupt UN, you have reasons to be skeptical.
That being said, I am sure there are unbiased and sound studies out there that validate climate change to some degree, but it is hard to determine the real danger and the real solutions in light of the hypocrisy and fraud with things like carbon taxes from people who chose to fly their private jets everywhere they go.
Wait, a POTUS ....with an AGENDA! Outrageous! The silliness begins with the assertion that part of that agenda is the intentional destruction of the economy, aided, apparently, by leading a global disinformation campaign about adverse impacts to the climate...that miraculously predates his administration. By the way, you can't simultaneously assert that the climate is not threatened by the burning of fossil fuels, hamstring any research into alternatives, and then complain when a person uses the current fuel source until said alternative is achieved. Well, you can, the right does it all the time, but not and keep any shred of credibility. Again, it's the tobacco playbook all over again.
Second Amendment: so when your gun was confiscated, what did that feel like? Plus, did you read the EPA directive on waterways? Well versed in the connectivity pf hydrologic systems? More: by military social experiment do you mean allowing gay people to serve openly instead of just serve (got a friend, gay, retired after 20 as a Navy Commander. Everyone knew, nobody cared). Was integrating the military also just a social experiment or should our Armed Forces not accurately reflect our ideals?
So if the facts about global warming are so obvious then why did NOAA ( the experts) have to reset the data to prove that climate is warming...when the way they collected data b4 showed the temps had stalled for the previous 19 yrs..
According to NOAA they switched to an updated database for ocean temps, one that has fewer errors due to differing methods of collection, and used a larger weather station database. The hiatus was so fragile to begin with that the extra data wiped it out. Or, they're conspiring with ISIS to force a modern caliphate. Believe which ever you want.
Can't even begin to know how you must feel, realizing your hero is a total fraud! Answer this if you were someone trying to destroy the US and the capitalist economy what would you do any differently to destroy it. Not much more that has already happened under this asshats reign.

When I conduct a scientific experiment I sure would like to throw out all the bad data, blame it on my methods of collection, that does not support my hypothesis. Certainly would make me look smarter.

Ahem, the military was RE-SEGREGATED by Woodrow Wilson, a luminary to the progressive left. It cost us dearly that units during the Second World War were still segregated. Each state has their own agency. The Federal version is completely agenda driven, and should be scrapped.
Wouldn't want them to admit that their methods were.......I'd say flawed, but that would indicate that they made a mistake. They set out to prove a hypothesis, which is wrong to start with, and Hydro knows it, and got caught fudging the data. Any thinking human has to ask why? There's only one logical answer and that is MONEY
It's certainly okay to have an agenda, but not okay to circumvent all known practices to push something that the majority of Americans are in disagreement with (as in going around Congress with executive orders used in an entirely different manner than ever before in our history and in creating regulations to backdoor your agenda that you can't get through Congress (the people's representatives). And who said anything about the intentional destruction of the economy? Though he is doing a pretty good job of that as well with his extreme EPA views. Just today his own EPA said that fracking was safe for water, but he will still oppose it as he is beholding to environmental extremists groups. The same game he has played with the keystone pipeline after three different environmental impact studies by his own administration has said it was safe (though he will continue to lie about that as well). We all know if predates his administration. This has been a pet project of the left for 30+ years. Mind you the drastic predictions never come true, but that doesn't stop the hysteria.
As for alternatives, good grief, your president just wasted untold billions on grants into alternatives (mostly to his cronies) that have had minimal effect on energy usage. Of course we wasted billions of tax dollars on these efforts with many companies that are now bankrupt. I guess we all know Obama has never been a businessman now.
You miss the entire point on the 2nd amendment power grab. I'll make it easy for you. Obama could not get a law through Congress on his firearm's proposals even when it was a majority Democrat Congress, so know he is just creating regulatory law to limit access as much as possible, trying to limit ammunition and of course doing the backdoor DOJ operation chokepoint to pressure banks into not providing loans to gun shops. (Smells of the IRS scandal doesn't it?). It's an end run around Congress and smacks of a dictator just doing whatever he damn well pleases. Are you really proud of this?
As for the EPA, this is just another big government power grab. Now I know you liberals completely trust and love big government to solve all of our problems, but for them to have say so on every drop of water in this country, so that they can regulate, fine and punish the citizenry is overreaching and scary. Soon no one will be able to use the water on their own property because big brother says so.
The military has been having a purge of the leadership. Either you get in line with Big Brother or you get forced to retire. This is problematic. There is no a political litmus test to stay in the military. It is beyond gays in the military. it's transgendered rights, its women in every conceivable role regardless of combat effectiveness, it's Christian persecution and the push of other religions in the military. It's getting disciplined for truthful, but politically incorrect training. Once again, it's all about the progressive agenda, not about the mission or combat effectiveness. Of course having a commander in chief who never served, but thinks he is smarter than all of his military advisers is probably part of the problem.

By the way, the EPA did not say that' fracking was ''safe for drinking water'; they said they didn't find widespread impact but did find localized contamination resulting from it. The science isn't difficult and not surprising for anyone who's ever installed a well.

I thought I was debating a grown-up, evidently not. You can continue to spout off your "scientific Principles" but the fact is your leaders have skewed the controls, data and data collection to get the results they want. We can clearly see this because we are open minded to see the facts and weigh the information. The conclusion is you and your kind hate a US where education, hard work and honesty are some of the principles that define the American dream.
