Yeah, there are actually people who are still patriotic
the fact you don't understand is troubling. but typical.

My feelings on the matter having nothing to do with patriotism....it was aired on SEC network... people saw it and commented here about it. I have yet to speak to anyone that is mad that it wasn't aired. And that includes current military members, Dawg fans and ND fans.

So keep up the manufactured outrage. Give a little extra to pick up my slack.

It is possible to recognize that ESPN (the outlet most were watching) eschewed a presentation honoring victims when those types of displays are usually part of the broadcast without being outraged. I was watching on ESPN and started seeing posts on the DV about the presentation and the quality of the anthem. I started flipping around the channels because I thought it may be being broadcast on another channel.

I'm not outraged. I still saw the game but would have liked to have seen what was happening in the stadium rather than talking head opinions. I also think ESPN missed the boat and evidently they believe they did something to reinforce a perceived political slant about their management. Sometimes a legitimate point can be made without outrage and sometimes you can take an action that leads people to believe it's a glimpse inside your soul.

ESPN is really slipping. They called Fresno the Bulldongs.

The backlash was immediate. Admitting a mistake two weeks later isn't much of an admission.

It should be played before every game seeing how we live in the US of A. No outrage, just obvious stupidity on ESPN's part.
