He has been a great scorer, rebounder, and defender, but I wonder how much better his numbers could have been with a more wide open offense. Yesterday he scored 20 hard earned points on 8 of 10 shooting, against double and triple teams. I have to think with a better scheme, more tempo, more movement, and other outside scorers, he could have scored 30.
I sadly think his offense has regressed some this year. His 3-point shooting has been off for a while and his touch down low has not been as good as in the past. But you have to be great to average about 20/game when the other team knows there are no other options.
There will be no buzz about him at draft time, but if he goes to the right team, with the right system, he will be a very good pro. (I don't care about measureables. If you have touch and can score, a pro coach will find a way to maximize your talents).
I might even watch a NBA game if he is playing.
