Boxes and came across a 1977 Sugar Bowl ticket. It is not in great shape but if any of you are interested Ill be happy to mail it to you. LOL I was 9 yrs old old back then ............... time for a beer!!

In my storage unit I also have the architectural rendering of the .........

enclosed Sanford Stadium(the railroad track renovation) circa 1979-80?????? It is the 3-d rendering under plexiglass/lexan about the sze of a pool table .Really cool. Found it in storage room in Stegman Colosseum think Poss' turned it into a popcorn room and Coach Pittard said I could have it if would get it out,so I did.

No but it does have a few fake trees, grass people walking around and.......

the bridge. I really should have said it is the scale model for the renovation. It is like a 6' mini Sanford.

Not to quibble over a generous gesture but

Lower deck or upper deck?

Re: That was before Tony changed the pronunciation of his last name

that was after if I remember right.

my dad kept calling him the old way (from the previous meeting) and I said the new way and that is what the announcers called for the Sugar Bowl

Re: That was before Tony changed the pronunciation of his last name

I just checked it on youtube and you were right- I apologize but I thought he received the Heisman as door-set but my memory fades as I get older

I think one of my brothers didn't go because the little tear off......

perforated stub is still intact,so obviously never used, sad.

Not that it's important but

Was curious and looked it up. Link says he changed it in summer of 1977. Interesting newspaper article,

LOL. We both did same thing. Whatever, wish we had won.

That is what we, you, me and your dad, wanted.

Up to 1977 any college team could give unlimited scholarships..........

post 1977 they cut back, but since it was the 1976 season Majors did nothing wrong.
