And what a damn series win. Friday night was a tough one and after I said Saturday would be the first game where we would see what this team is made of… We saw this is a tough group and they believe in each other.
It’s safe to say you have a good team when you can beat the best team in the country and have 5 errors and strikeout 17 times. It was a grind of a series but it was a classic one. One of those you remember for years for sure.
We have set ourselves up nicely. 10-5 in the conference at the halfway point is quite an accomplishment. The thing is, we can also get better. Overall we need some guys to get it going at the plate again and that should be scary to the rest of our schedule. With that said we are putting together a damn good resume.
