I realize there are some better players I omitted from my 26 man roster, but I think this roster would be the deadliest.
I have zero problem putting Aaron at first and ARod at shortstop. Fwiw, I was very close to omitting Hank for Pujols... or removing Griffey. I also removed Sammy from my original version. Fwiw, I may replace Cano with Alfphonso Soriano at 2nd.

In a few years, I think I'll be able to add Ozzie Albies with a straight face. Seriously. I don't value Ripkin, Rose, Murray or Mariano Rivera as Much as most do. I'd take Smoltzie or Nolan Ryan as my closer over Mariano any day.
