What is the mascot at The University Of Richt?*

you realize he got fired right? ... is there a need to pile on and piss all over the man too?

I don't think he was pissing all over Richt. I think he was pissing all over the people who care more about Richt than the University of Georgia and it's football program. Everyone wishes Richt well, except when he plays UGA.

I can't recall reading or hearing anything where people are somehow taking Richt's ''side'' over UGA's, whatever that means.
I'm open to being informed though, so where are these people and what are they saying ?

I have yet to read, anywhere, of any "Disney's" who support Richt over UGA. You read of anyone who would support Richt if his future team were to play UGA? I don't think so. If Richt stays at UGA, I'll support him. If he leaves for another coaching position, he's now the enemy when his team might play UGA.

Simple as that.

Oh, there's a whole "Fire McGarity" posse, a "I hope Georgia doesn't win a game next year" crowd, and the requisite "They'll never find a more Christian man to lead our team" dreamers in addition to all those folks who can't envision any scenario that doesn't equate to Tennessee's years in the Wilderness.

I, for one, was a Bulldog long before Mark Richt even knew where Athens was located.

Go to DawgNation and you will find many...

Me too, brother, me too.

Ok, I'm still a huge fan of the man and wish him all the best. Of course I'm still a UGA man though, always will be.

I'm not a Richt fan, I just hate going through coaching regime changes. I knew it was time for Dooley to hang it up, but I hated to see him go. Goff was awful, but it made me sad to see a DGD get fired. I loved it when Donnan said, "I can't believe you asked me that damn question", but he had to go and I hated it. I'm going through the same thing regarding Richt, but I'll be excited (I hope) when the new coach is announced.

I don't trust ADGM to make a good decision. He looks like a cross between Pat Paulsen and Alfred E. Neuman. I have this nightmare that we are going to watch a press conference in which Chris Hatcher is announced as our head football coach.

Oh there's plenty, including some on this site. Go listen to 680thefan or TheGame. Go read some other sites. Go read the DawgChat. First you'll have to wade through the political BS to do that.

If someone else hadn't taken over the steering wheel then I am sure that McGarity would have screwed everything up. He got his little ego bruised by Pruitt and he wanted to get even.
