Its not hard for Texas to get up for a big game against Bama and play well with their level of talent. What we dont know is how these new coaches and new teams are going to handle an SEC schedule in SEC stadiums. The SEC is a different animal to the Big 12 and Pac 12 week in and week out. While there are some good coaches on these teams staff and some good talent, this will be new to them. Getting up for a Missouri or Ole Miss when you just played Bama or UGA and then playing Auburn on the road .....its tough in this league and they are about to find out. So while yes, Texas will be good, this will all be new to them and we dont know how they will respond to it week in and week out.
