Not only make the playoff, but go on a run with our dysfunctional offense.
Unfortunately, a game like Ole Miss has the potential to completely take away what little confidence we had left on offense. Offense might be mentally broken at this point.
The biggest issue is talent. We can’t block, we can’t get open, we can’t catch, we’re not explosive, and we turn the ball over…
What do we do well? Literally nothing. Even our coaching sucks because there’s still multiple missed assignments a game and drive killing penalties. Sad when you know a 5 yard penalty means drive is 100% over.
Unfortunately none of this is really fixable. We just have to pray that Sanford grants us one against Tennessee and we show up motivated for Tech. After that we need luck to be on our side and dodge the teams with an elite dline so our offense has a shot to even function.
That’s the recipe we need to make any kind of run.
All that said, somehow this offense has found a way to score 30+ against everyone except Ole Miss and Kentucky. Two teams with a nasty dline(thank god we don’t play USCjr 🙃)
We’ll need so much to go right and even our defense to not have another Bama game to make any noise, but it starts Sat. You can’t fake desperation and that’s where we are. Not sure if the team has that DNA although we saw signs against Texas.
We’ve been spoiled af since 2021 it’s time to back Kirby and make Sanford hell for Tennessee. We still have our last stand to play.
