Cubelic: The Georgia defense once again...suffocating. They just remove space so quickly. And they rotate guys that can be dominant up front. They may not have a guy as dominant as in the past. But they have multiple guys who can come in and change games. M. Williams and M. Jones were making plays up front. Brinson was making plays up front. But it's really that secondary and that second level....you see 33 flying sideline to sideline. Tykee comes down, runs through a blocker and makes a tackle by himself on the outside.
Carson Beck throws for 300 yards, has three TD passes, and it wasn't a clean game. It was nowhere near one of his cleaner games. Missed a throw downfield early on, Bowers dropped one, couple of mix up in pressures. And then, we've got it fixed, it's over. What are we gonna do now? We're gonna run Milton. Let's get Dillon Bell back involved in this game. MRJS? Sure, let's get him going. McConkey is limited in this game and it doesn't matter. Too many weapons, so you still are a problem. And the power rushing attack just continues to come. If that physical play on the OL keeps coming they are gonna be a big problem. A really big problem.
Total yards 472 -277. That's ridiculous to hold that offense to 277 yards. And for Tennessee? You were just out-physicaled. You couldn't get movement in the trenches.
There's not a lot of holes in this team, man. There's just not. And just because individual pieces are not as dominant as last year, it doesn't mean that collectively it can't be a little bit better. They are better in the secondary, better at WR. Bobo has done a great job, once he gets through his script, of finding out how to win the game early. They power run if that's where to attack, they short pass if that's it, they sit in the pocket and throw downfield if that's it. Not a lot they can't do. Maybe the only thing they are not as good at as last year is QB scramble.

Greg McElroy: Carson Beck is one of the better QBs in the country. Watch the accuracy starting with the UK game. He's really been great all year. People don't want to give him his flowers. I don't know why. Maybe he doesn't make the highlight reel plays. But he's been one of the best in the country. Should be a Heisman candidate.
I don't think this game was as much about UTK as about Georgia. Are the Vols that bad? Are the Dawgs that good? I thinks it's more about Georgia being good. Bowers being back has been great. MRJS is important. Big physical WR that can challenge you downfield. Big fan of what Georgia is doing right now. They look great.

Tom: Saban's Bama teams never did it.
Chip: And it's kind of funny because it followed a familiar script. Georgia did not score first. And Beck's kind of that boxer. Kind of warms you up in the first half. "Let's see what you're doing." And I acknowledge there are a lot of pieces going into this. Give credit to the offensive staff. But Georgia just warms you up. Figures out what you want to do. Throws in its wrinkles and then gasses you in the third quarter and beyond. This is an affirmation if you believe Georgia is the best team in the country and I expect that will be reflected in the poll.
Bud: Is any QB among the potential playoff teams making better throws than Carson Beck right now?
Chip and Tom: No.
Bud: I mean Nix has better numbers, but he's not making better throws.
Tom: Nix is throwing screens. Beck is driving the ball downfield.
Bud: He's making himself some money right now. We came into this season thinking this season is really fun. We have all this uncertainty. Does Bama have a QB? Does Ohio State have a QB? We kind of know Ohio State doesn't have one. Bama? Depends on your opinion "Is this real improvement or less so?". Guys, Georgia has a quarterback. And that's not really fun for us who are wanting chaos. It's not good if the best roster has the best quarterback.
