Wow as I sit here less than 24 hours from the game could their be LESS chatter & talk about the Georgia-Georgia Tech game?? I mean our #1 rival, we've lost 4 games in a row, we have them at home on a Saturday and their is next to nobody talking about the game. We are selling "coupon" tickets and this for a game that ONCE was an "EVENT." Raise your hand if you ever attended this game at the Omni? As a kid in 1990 (13 years old) I may have witnessed the greatest GA-GT game ever when it went to triple OT at the old Omni in an absolute war. The building was about 50/50, crowd was great, good basketball, just a special experience. We need that back folks! This game needs to get off the campuses and get back Phillips/Infinite Energy (Gwinnett) on a yearly basis to bring the crowds back. With the right marketing and choosing of a date we can get that excitement back in the rivalry I believe, but this current state of things is flat out pathetic...
