Finished 15th, last place, at + 19. Earlier in day they had moved up. Strong field, #4 Texas won at 26 under. We finished 1 behind Ala. No way to spin this outing, a real stinker. 45 strokes behind the leader after three rounds.

Our best score was Lee McCoy T-11 at -3, Robby Shelton of Ala was medalist at -15. Our next best score was +7, T-60, Straka and Sigg. Someone asked why we weren't ranked higher coming off the win at Puerto Rico. With a last place finish in a 15 team field which includes #1, 3, 4, 6, 10 and other Top 20 rankings this would be a reason. Hopefully this is a one time thing, and we bounce back. We have a one day tournament, Southern Intercollegiate on March 16 at Athens CC, followed by the Linger Longer at Reynolds March 21-22. We are better than the Vegas tournament, I hope.
