Who cares? I didn't think that it would ever be possibly, but Mark Richt coached teams have killed my spirit to watch Georgia football. They are just not fun to watch and it's embarrassing when they play a big time game. You already know what it going to happen. Please Lord, call this man to the permanent mission field.

My vote is the toilet bowl too. I hate the fact that good players have to put up with the coaching. Once again we underachieved and beat an insignificant Auburn, and Kentucky. I'm sick of this crap. Mcgarity
( however you might spell his name) didn't do his job the last 2 years. They fired Jim Donnan for losing to Au, Fl, and Ga Tech in the same year. If they keep him I would be surprised. because the last 4 loses came from Ga Tech, Al, Tenn (ridiculous), and Fl.That's a really bad resume' at UGA. However you people that like Pruitt(myself included) are going to be disappointed I think. The word out is the alumni don't like him. The kingpin being Fran Tarkenton! Fire Mcgarity first for letting it go on 3 more years.I guess my point is you need to get rid of all the softies and bleeding hearts first.

I hear Shreveport is beautiful this time of year. Maybe we can take a detour and ride by the Sugar Bowl on the way over there.

Fran, though a great qb, is all over the board. Keep richt, fire richt blah blah blah. Pruitt is the best coach on staff and anyone that wants him gone is too stupid to breathe. Heck, he largely kept it together versus bama take away special teams and offensive blunders and 3 and outs. Have some offensive production and it would have been a game, far better than lsu played them.

This year will be a hideous year for UGAs big 3 sports. And we have not beat Tech or southern yet.

Actually, Shreveport is better than some. At least they have casinos & weather usually isn't in 20s like when at Music City.

Why would anyone even consider going to these games? I just don't get it.

Used to go to any bowl. Even went to Cotton back in 82. Fun times. When younger. LOL! Now, it's just gotten too expensive. Used to go to all away games too. But I refuse to pay 230 dollars for 2 tix to go to AU or anywhere else. That used to be one of our fav road games on a bus. But with 150 to ride a bus and 230 for tix, I'll pass.

I will say this, Ga Fla is better than any bowl game for the SEC, with the exception of the Sugar.

I used to go to every GA FL game every year until last year. I sure am glad I didn't go this year. Last year was just plain awful...

It's no fun watching Georgia implode in big games or blow out a cup cake. I'll watch it on TV, but I do it for the comedy. It's either laugh or cry. I know a few people that have refused to watch. It pisses them off to bad.

This is what it's come to. If they don't do something, I'm liable to quit watching it all together. It's just no fun.

Cotton was after '83 season. Glorious 10 - 9 win over a supremely confident #2 ranked Texas squad in the cold. I was there because I though I should be there. Not many of the Dawg "Faithful" were there however, following the 13-7 loss to Auburn. Too bad. It was one for the ages.

Let's win out and soak up some Florida sun. 9-3 should land us in a decent spot.
As bad as Oct was,,,REALLY BAD, We have a chance to win 10 for the 5th time in 6 years.
No, it's not where I want to be, but give Richt some credit for not folding.
Maybe he needs to convince himself he's playing to salvage something while We're still undefeated. He clearly relaxed and dug in as soon as We were eliminated from The SEC race.

There weren't. But 2 other couples to go couldn't because of damage from ice and sure many more in same boat.. Remember the whole south was iced in. We went to south fork on Sunday & the pool was iced over. Cold parade on Monday, very cold.

What Dawgs were there were visible for sure. We did not see any TX fans till game. Only ones at parade were the band members.

Met sports broadcaster Lindsey Nelson in our hotel lobby. Nice guy. All had to wait for rooms at check in, shot the breeze with him for half an hour. His mission was to meet UGA the next day across the street at Leows Anatole. Couldn't wait yo pet the dog! Lol.

Lastinger of all people saved us. Good times.

I hope CMR resigns as he promised his wife 15 yrs ago. But McGarity doesn't have the final say. Too many involved nowadays thanks to Michael F Adams. That kind of thing needs to STOP. Get the AA board back to what it used to be without outsiders involved.

That's not going to happen. The Jan Kemp thing saw to that.

Know what ya mean about getting pissed off. Near the end of the Tennessee game I checked my blood pressure...150/125, stroke level. I stoped watching...and really even caring after that one. Just can't handle it anymore.

Gut check for the second week in a row. Next week will be another. If Richt escapes with a 9-3 record and a half decent bowl after losing Chubb and having no significant positive contribution from the QB, then he deserves more time in my book. Defense has been sound since Tennessee. Michel and Mitchell have been money.

I would have loved to have met Lindsey Nelson. I would have asked him about his experiences at the Battle of the Bulge as a lieutenant.

That's one thing I do miss about the old days. Just about every famous person had fought in WWII or Korea and what they did then was far more important than what they did to become famous.

Does it matter at this point? We haven't beaten anyone of consequence. We haven't been a remotely good team. In fact, other than GSU, which is on a lower level than us, every team we beat sucked.

The Disney is strong in this one.

Disney, huh? OK, let's be rational: They haven't lost to anyone who wasn't as good or better than them. Alabama is on another planet. Tennessee at home without Chubb was a push and they lost. No doubt in my mind they win with Chubb. They had no chance vs a solid Florida team with Lambert minus Chubb, so they rolled the dice and came up with a worse result than they would have suffered had they stuck with Lambert. Auburn was a decent win there, even though Auburn is average. That's three down and one up. The rest were business as usual. Prognosis: "Did not meet expectation". A win over Tennessee would have been 10-2 and "Meets expectation". 11-1 would have been "Exceeds expectation". 12- 0 would have been "Far exceeds". You go 9-3 in the SEC and the only people delusional enough to holler for your scalp that I know of are the LSU fans who somehow have forgotten the Gerry DiNardo and Curley Hallman decade and think they belong in the club with Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Notre Dame and a few of the other college football blue bloods.

The only stat that matters. 10 years, let that sink in good, 10 years no SEC championships. You know, it's not even that. Here is something that delusional Richt fans don't get from looking at wins and losses.

It's how we lost that's the rub. We don't compete at all in big games. It's embarrassing and there is no excuse for it. The only exception was 2012. Every other good program can compete with AL, except GA. Ole Miss beat them. When was the last time Georgia beat a big time program.

You can still pull for Richt when he's doing something else other than coaching Georgia.

They did not fire JD for that reason. So you need to redesign your reasoning.
