Even in The far Cosmos,The Mighty G reigns supreme.
I have mixed feelings about Kyle.

From guys who knew him, he was a great guy and shot. Had his demons but had seemed to turn the corner towards the end. Movie was ra ra but all movies are. The guy was the real deal they said. Not a braggart.

Radi must be feeding the Liberal craze to ask something like this........without heroes there's a chance we dont even have the G!!!

One thing I am never called is a liberal. In this case I was asking folks to use their freedom of expression to say which local corn maze they liked, not if they preferred UGA over an American soldier.

Some who knew him, and many who researched facts had a more tainted view of him though.
I come from a Father, Uncles, etc who were more along the lines of Jimmy Stewart than John Wayne. Stewart volunteered, performed his duty, then never traded on it.
Wayne spent a lifetime trading on his MYTH.
Embellishing on, telling out and out HUGE LIES, bragging about and trading on his service leaves me at best ambiguous about the man. His penchant for making up stories where he claimed to kill people is particularly troubling. His claim to have killed 2 would be truck jackers..made up. His claim to have killed 30 looters after Katrina.... made up, his claim to have beat up Jesse Ventura..made up, his estate was ordered to pay Ventura 1.8 million in damages.
