Lots of people use bid sniping programs now

They are actually not at their computer bidding when the auction ends. the program bids for you in the final seconds. I use one called Gixen. Check out the website. Gixen.com

Yes it takes care of everything for you. And it is free.

You also have the option to pay $6 a year and it will bid for you from two different servers. Gives you almost a 100% chance that your bid will go through. One server is in Chicago and the other is in Miami. I have been using the dual server option for a few years now. It works great. No more having to be at your computer when the auction ends. Just put in you high bid and forget about it.

If two people are using gixen on the same item, both bids will go through. Highest bid will win.
