Why has Auburn regressed so much?

Since we beat them for the SECC in '17, UGA has been on a clear upward path. The results are self-evident.

Auburn has not been anywhere near the Auburn most of us are used to facing, historically. One could argue that they've been closer to a Kentucky or a Lower-Piedmont Yard-bird than a team that historically challenges UGA.
