Because the state ranks 3rd to 4th in the nation in the number of D-1 recruits coming out of high school

The school has a long and storied football history and are the 15th winningest program in NCAA History. Considering that they play in the SEC, the toughest conference in the nation and were a founding member of that conference, being the 15th winningest football program is saying something

Herman was just given 3 million at Houston without SEC pressure, it's not JUST about the money. UGA has all the inherent strengths to win titles.
