since a big majority of the refugees are young men ? why are we taking these folks when the wealthy mooslim countries in that area are not taking any at all ?

Jerkins, I don't know about your assertion that ''a big majority'' are young men, I see many women and children in camps. I do have questions and concerns about this migration and the fact Mideast countries won't take them in though.

This isn't a scheme to implant Trojans, but there might be some radicals mixed in with the vast majority who are just looking for a better life.

It does seem to me Saudi Arabia and other gulf states should step up and take in most of these homeless people.

Well right or wrong, they're all security risks until proven definitively otherwise - it's the right thing to do.

I those percentages are correct, it's something to worry about.
That's not to say it's for sure terrorist are using the situation to slip into Europe, but it might be the case. If men are coming in to find work and housing before moving their families it might also explain the disparity.

What man leaves his family behind when escaping a war-torn country? "No no bunny, you stay here with the kids. I'll be back for you once I find a job and apartment. Pinky swear."

Ok..''Bunny'' let's use every dime we can scratch together, load the kids on a boat that will probably sink and take them to live in a refugee camp, if we're lucky. Or, maybe you can stay with your parents and I'll send for you when I have a job and place to stay.

Refugee boat or Daesh or Syrian Govt....if those are my choices, we're going to a boat ride/swim
