With Chubb and Michel...

Who cares about Eason????? I mean it would be nice to get him but look at Bama. Coker? really?
Well, I think the Bama game showed us what no qb and Chubb/Michel can do. And it wasn't pretty. I agree with a lot of people that we shouldn't hang all our hopes on a kid who has yet to play a snap but I also think it would be a very good pick-up if he committed. We don't have a SEC caliber qb on our roster right now, so I hope that is one of Smart's recruiting priorities.

The problem with the AL game was the OL and the DL more than QB.

And special teams, and coaches getting the team prepared for a physical game, etc. I think we need to fix a lot of things but I also think Kirby needs to identify his style of offense and make sure he has a capable qb. Right now we are looking at Lambert and Ramsey. That scares me.

I wasn't referring to the UGA/Bama game. I was referring to Coker being their QB. He was no Eason. Don't get me wrong. I want Eason. I would like him here in the spring. However we will get a QB and as long as our backs can stay healthy we can win.

I agree. I'm not sold that any of the QBs on the roster are capable of getting the job done. Ramsey can't read a defense and Lambert is a head case & too slow with his reads.

A bigger issue with Lambert is that he got no better from the first game to the last. Coker got better and better as the year went along.
