I would start by saying almost any Stephen King book to film, even The Shining....but...
Being a long time resident of New Orleans, one comes immediately to mind. The recent offering from Netflix, Anne Rice's The Witching Hour, called The Mayfair Witches.
Horrible. Where is Aaron Lightner. Where is one of the main characters, Julian Mayfair. They combined him and Courland into one person. Love Beth Grant but she is the opposite of Carlotta Mayfair. I watched half of the first episode and turned it off. It was turned into some chick flick thing with a BS Twilight feel. Horrible.
I was fortunate enough to have met Ms. Rice and her son Christopher, and was able to go inside her 1st Street home where Witches was set. What Netflix put out was so bad and not fair to her biggest fans that always wanted to see Witching Hour put on film.
